....for the A-League.
Queensland (soon to be changed to Brisbane) Roar kick off with a home match against new club and quickly becoming fierce local rivals Gold Coast United (from just an hour up the road).
In addition for the first time the A-League are having Boxing Day matches and we are playing Gold Coast again, away this time. One of the things I've missed most about Christmas here before is no football on Boxing Day. This will go some way to resolving that. It will be very different to back home of course, it's the height of summer and could involve surfing at Surfers Paradise before the game instead of warming up in the pub. Nothing will beat being in The Spread Eagle pre and post match on Boxing Day of course, but this will go some way to relieving the homesickness.
