Zone Update New Facebook Page

Morning all, we have now created a new Facebook page. The original group page is still going but we are moving ahead with the times and Facebook and have our own official page now. So come and like the page and if you don't already follow us on Twitter add us.

Moving on with the times. If you look at a lot of other sites/companies they have this style of Facebook page. The group page is old and dated, we can now use this to deliver information and attract new members better.

Didn't the old page have all the Adventures of Chocolate Orange on it? Have they gone now, or am I just being a bit of a div?

The old group is still open and I'm pretty sure that had its own Facebook page. I may be wrong you will have to ask SBH on that one.

The group is great in many ways, but one of the biggest issues with it is the number of people who use it without even realising that this site exists, which the page will hopefully help with and will promote the site.

Also is visible to more people than the group, and is more likely to help in attracting sponsors and things like that than a group page where it's not possible for 'ShrimperZone' to post anything on the group.

Feel free to share any ideas/suggestions of how to improve it.

Mick, the post underneath that was deleted due to the off topic nature. It had nothing to do with the post above and it was nothing to do with the Facebook page. If you have an issue with how I moderate, which I do in my own spare time and do for free then please contact one of the other mods or owners to place your complaint.

It was to do with posters who for minor infractions have been forced from posting and are now using the facebook page to sound off about it.
