Question Neil Harris

Loosing my patience with him to be honest, our strikers haven't been finding the net without the need for penalties. Dickinson I have been happy with his link up play and he has been very unlucky with a few chances.

You have to think though, if you take penalties out of the equation a Mr Bilel Moshni has scored the most goals upfront. I feel we need to have him up top week in week out.

a mixed bag, at times has played very well, good link up play etc etc, but on occasions thus far has looked slow, leggy, off the pace. jurys still out IMO, lets get behind him though he genuinely loves the club.

2 goals in open play so far this season tells the truth about these so called strikers.

Don't think he gets enough credit for the space he creates and the intelligence of his passing. Seems to me it's like Dougie Freedman all over again, which is a massive shame for someone who is not only playing for the club but has also been a supporter for years.
seems like Dougie all over again, we've got him just a bit too late.
Great minds and all that!!!

we miss corr no doubt about that, dickinson was nearly as bad as harris yesterday, maybe a bit of wheeling and dealing in january

Thought he played reasonably well yesterday, but does need to start scoring a bit more. Just hope the fans don't get on his back, that would be the worst thing to do.

Not sure I agree with that at all. Yes, I like Barry Corr and think he did a great job for us last year, but I think Dickinson will be more prolific than he was providing he gets the chance. Harris and Dickinson are a great partnership and I think criticism is being made far too soon. Both are scoring, both are creating.....let's stop this awful habit we have of trying to find scapegoats and just concentrate on appreciating what they both bring to the game.

Er when, 2 between them in 13 games in open play.

.........so we all want Blair on in his place!?!?!?!

No thanks lol!

Think on people...think on................

Yesterday was not the best game the front pair have had, saying that, although we put lots of crosses into the box for them the delivery often lacked quality. We are where we are, we have no/very little money - Liam, Neil and Blair are our forwards, we ve had better and we ve had worse. Unless Ron/Tara are willing to put their hands in their pockets to sign someone better (unlikely being that they couldn't muster £20k between them to take the team to Scotland) then thats what we ve got.

Guessing his averaging about 1 goal every 4 games at the mo. If he keeps working at it and gets it down to 1 goal every 2/3 games I don't think you could begrudge that.

Let's not get on his back and give it some more time!

Wasn't at the game yesterday, sounds like both forwards had a bad time.
The negativity aimed at Harris seems rash, granted most thought he would do better than he has, but he's experience is still a big asset, and I personally still think he will get a respectable number of goals.
When he is on the pitch he's a commanding player, telling others where to pass and when etc. These qualities go unnoticed by many it seems, and that's a shame.

I can only assume that people making some of these comments either have never played the game or dont watch the games closely. Harris isnt just about scoring he makes intelligent runs and creates space for others. If he gets 10-15 goals this season i think that a decent return. He reminds me a bit of Mike Marsh. People used to get on his back all the time. The fact was that he was used to playing at a higher level and with better players and sometimes the players just didnt read his passes or movement, a bit like Harris at the mo. The guy is Southend through and through and deserves some respect, he most def is not anywhere near as bad as some are making out and is if it wasnt for a top draw save by the keeper yesterday would have scored. Goater only scored 9 didnt he and he became a one season legend.
