I don't know what's going on with my brain at the moment, I always seem to dream but can rarely remember them, but recently have had a couple of very vivid SUFC dreams which I remember very well.
A couple of days ago.......
Southend had reached a final due to be played at Wembley against Port Vale. The match was on a Saturday but it was announced that all flags had to be put up on the Thursday and none allowed on the day. The Thursday came and there were hundreds of shrimpers there and they were putting flags in every possible place. Port Vale had about six fans and two flags. Suddenly huge chants came from the Southend fans, the Port Vale fans hugely incensed rushed to the imaginary line on the side which would separate the fans on the day, and offered the Southend fans out and then........I woke up. Did we win? I'll never know.
Last night I dreamed................
We were away I don't know where but they were a poor side and we were expected to win. The match kicked off and we soon found ourselves a shock one nil down. The Blues fought back well and scored three times before our opponents pulled one back and it was 3-2 at half time. Two quick goals put us 5-2 up but the opponents replied with their third, but the rampant Shrimpers added three more to lead 8-3. How on earth we didn't reach double figures in the final minutes, every body was amazed but what a performance and our opponents were.........then I woke up. Now that is one match we all like to see but I have never seen anyone win 8-3 in my life.
Can't wait for tonight's dream!!!!!!!
