My prediction this season is promotion

Quite Right Colin, if we don't start the season in optimistic mood whats the point.

Small aquad and all that so what? You can sign players after the season starts you know, stay in contention till the new year, signings like we made in last years January window and lets see.

Whats the point of all this negativity at the moment.

I have to agree,we have an abundance in quality and the confidence will build quickly.Many leaders on the park,i think the lads will suprise even a few of our own.

No matter how mud we've looked to be in the past, I've always gone in to the new season thinking that Jones/Tolson/Richards/Constantine/Gray/Harrold are going to be the guy to fire us in to the big time.

As soon as Saturday 15:00 arrives, it's time to let out a big roar and get behind the boys.

It's easy to say we won't get promoted and the odds agree but we've got a shout and a lot better than most teams if the odds are to be believed.

Like the optimism but at this moment our squad lacks depth and we actually cant fill two positions.

However its not as dire as some others think and we have better strikers than last season.

I dont see us getting promoted but hope we can squeeze into the playoffs again.

Give steve and paul time let them get the right players,not to just buy any one,i think a little way into the season we could pick up a better type of player.You cant always get whot you want,but in time you do.

If it's any consolation to the naysayers, it looks like Leeds and Leicester will run away with it, and everyone else is going to be utter s***e. Going to be a very weak league this year, so nothing to suggest that any one team can't make the top six (or get relegated for that matter).

Know what your saying mate but kind of feel Steve and Paul have had twelve weeks to bring in the right players and have failed to do so.

Defence - Barrett or Sankofa both out of position or a untested left back.

Don't forget though that we weren't very good start of last season and it wasn't until the additions in the New Year that we really started to look like promotion candidates.

Fully support the optimism, but we weren't good enough last season, and since then have lost Maher, Mulgrew, Gower and funadamentally not replaced them. We'll be playing people out of position just to field a team on Saturday. We're 3-4 players away from anything like a promotion challenge.
