Swindon have been gritting the car park, entrys, and hired covers and machinary to get it on,nice to see safety of fans also taken into consideration.Even there managers having a go!
Well done Swindon,i hope its on for all the work they put in.

Why didnt our club put anything like a request on the main site for the scunny game?i would have helped.

We had no heaters or covers brought in to help thaw the pitch?
We had no grit on entrys or car park?
Maybe its a money issue?

And some smart alec decided to put shingle on ice at the west stand entrance.
Proberly would have been safer putting marbles down!

But sorry Mr King,Swindon have show SUFC effort wasnt good enough,
if its off tommorow at least swindon can say they tried everything.

Southend can say that they tried everything. The decision to call the match off had nothing to do with the car park.

The temperature at Roots Hall was below freezing so even if the heaters were used the pitch would have re frozen very quickly making the pitch worse. But please lets not let the reality of the situation get in the way of having a pop at the club

The pitch wasn't frozen though there was a small patch with ice on, that's all. All reports have said the ground beneath the snow was soft and perfectly playable.

Tuesday night was a fiasco ,the car park was far to icy surely the club cant be that desperate to put a game on as to risk the safety of its fans , its all well and good the ref saying that the players safety is of the most importance but surely the safety of the supporters must come into it .

It was postponed. Get over it.

You're right, it was postponed.....just 10 hours too late. In any walk of life, when cashflow is tight, people sometimes take chances they wouldnt normally and i dont mean the ref. Problem here was that without the will/ability/finances to prepare properly, it was a chance that was doomed to failure. All obviously my own opinion.

God what a miserable time we live in if a postponed football match actually matters to people......

close it then?????????

He can't...............that is the funny/sad thing about him, he thinks that he is some sort of Dalai Lama who is all knowing and seeing but in truth he is a Dullard who craves popularity that he can not buy by being a Mod on a Football Chat forum.
