Sorry he this is old news, but apparently Franck is on trial at QPR.
Good luck to him, good to see our youth system churning out players who are wanted by Leicester and Crystal Palace
As others have pointed out, the Mousse is no more a product of our youth team than Cesc Fabregas is the product of Arsenal's. Mousse was an Andlerlecht / Wet Spam youth team product, not an SUFC one.

Sorry to correct m'learned friend but Moussa played for Southend United's YOUTH TEAM and not those of Anderlecht or West Ham, although I do concede that he played for them in lower age group games.:)
What he said.
I'm not sure I see the difference. Moussa was a couple of months shy of his 16th birthday before he'd even heard of Southend. I don't see how he can be honoured as a fantastic product of our youth set up.
Agree with that, I think it's splitting hairs really. The Youth system/RD/ST deserve praise for finding Moussa and developing him.I think that's a tenous connection at best, to be honest. We clearly do have links with some of the London youth setups (Moussa came in from West Ham, others from Arsenal) but I think that a player should be involved in the youth set-up for longer than Moussa was (he made his first team debut eight months after joining) if he's really going to be labelled as being another one off of the Boots & Laces production line.
Has today signed a new contract at Leicester until 2013-
