Motm

interesting that it was macca. he had a great game as he usually does but didn't expect him to get it. Surprisingly I was really impressed by hunts performance. got forward well, didn't fall alseep and done a few good tackles. He did nearly give a pen away towards the south end by hand balling it but luckily got away with it.

Well done to him, don't think he put a foot wrong all night!

Night ?

Have to agree Hunt did play very well today ..

Hunt has been close to MOM in a couple of games. What is he on. He has been a revelation recently!

For me there were a couple who could have got it. Macca was perhaps deserving but if Hunt, Bailey or P.Clarke I would not have been wondering why.

Have to agree with the Lewis camp, over the last two games have seen an improved Lewis - what's he eating for breakfast 3 shredded wheat. However today I thought Bailey deserved MOTM.

Lewis Hunt, always been a fan of Hunt and never liked it when people doubt his ability and today and the Tranmere game he proved he has the real class to be an excellent player.

The MOTM award is only picked by the sponsor who donates the champagne so its only the opinion of a fan, and we all know how they differ.

Hunt was alot better today because he stayed in his position and didn't wander into the middle, this was probably down to the fact we had a proper right winger playing today, which gave us better balance.

A good move by Tilly today, we looked a far better and balanced side with players playing in their preferred positions.

agreed... whilst there were a lot of players not quite at their best, with them in their best positions we still scored 3 times and kept a clean sheet. hunt was class today and even with gower and black fairly poor, both flanks were balanced and our defence was barely troubled

Hunt's recent performances show that no matter how hard you train and reserve games you play in theres no substitute for regular first team matches. My mom Macca is a case in point. All over the pitch today covering a phenomenal amount of ground. He cramped up a couple of times last season when putting in that kind of performance. I'm hoping it's the lack of first team games that accounts for Hoops first half as I was very impressed with the way he and Clarke worked togewther
