Most hated opponent.

I have two players I have really hated over the years both are totally insignificant to the bulk of football supporters but I detested them.

1) Nathan Abbey -

Played against us in the cup game vs Chesterfield and really over celebrated against away end when the scored. Didnt seem quite so cocky at Roots Hall when they lost.

2) Mark Ford

Played for Torquay against us at there place and was such a dirty moaner. Think he scored at the hall in the cup against us before a Leo Roget blockbuster put them out. Always filthy and a dirty Northern tramp.

Always hated (Neil?) Grayson who played for Cheltenham. One of those players who preferred to taunt the opposition fans rather than celebrate with his own after scoring a goal.

Paul Raynor and Lee Philpott (Cambridge United)

Richard Hill (Northampton Town)



and from watching TV I always hated Steve Staunton and Ronnie Whelan

when they were at Liverpool.

Jamie Pollock of Middlesbrough used to really really annoy me.

Scott Green of Bolton for celebrating with the away fans after scoring an equaliser at the Hall.

More recently Phil Jevons for being so jammy and scoring the winner at Roots Hall last season.
