OK he got sent off and was silly but we can't have our best player on the bench any more. We are cutting off our nose to spite our face with this one.
He must start up front or right midfield.
I will be gutted if he's on the bench again.
I see that the majority Plymouth fans are expecting to lose this game . I think they are judging that just on our league position and not our current form.

Come on Sturrock get Moshni on from the start and GO FOT IT !!!!!

Mohsni should not even be a Southend player.
His past behaviour should have seen him out.
Sturrock said too may times that we was in the last chance saloon.
It was also stated that fellow players were upset at his conduct.
He is not a team player, just a show off and liable to erratic conduct on and off the pitch.
I suspect that there are real problems in the dresssing room centred on the conduct of Mohsni.
I have not seen many comments of player support for him.
He has done well at times, Northamptin particularly from the bench.
He will though cause too many problems to be worth keeping.

I'm quite happy for him to be introduced to add bite (metaphorically speaking) during a game, personally, I think he has greater impact this way. Only way I'd want him to start is in defence, and hopefully Phillips will pass his late fitness test today so that won't be necessary.

For me I agree with OBL, I'd start with:

Morris
Clohessy Phillips/Baldwin Barker Gilbert
Hall Kalala Timlin Martin
Dickinson Sampson

with Mohsni off the bench for the last 20-25.

With the possible execption of Hall, Mohsni is the most talented footballer at the club. He therefore HAS to start every game. If Luggy thinks he's to much of a liability to play for 90 mins then get rid of him.

Totally agree. I think he's suffered his 'punishiment', and after the gutless display by some of the players against Swindon, he fully deserves to start (whatever PS thinks) would be his best position.

Crazy logic that for me. If he's THAT good yet a liability, why get rid rather than let loose when we need an extra burst? For me he makes more of an impact when coming on, especially against a tired defence in the last 25 minutes. A fresh Mohsni is the last thing the opposition defence would want to see.

Indeed ala Northampton!

The reason PS has put up with all Moshni's antics is that he knows how good he is. Yes he is good at coming off the bench in the last 20 Min the problem is we could be 3-0 by then. Fat lot of good he is then when its too late.

I don't see many disputing that he is the best all round player we have. I dont care if the rest of the squad like him or not. It is not a personality contest and you only get picked if your popular. They all get together when he scores and are happy.
He brings some thing different to our predictable punt and hope attack. I think Plymouth will be delighted if he is sitting on the bench for 2/3's of the game.

Wasn't two thirds on Tuesday though, was it? He came on at half time for a very lacklustre Kane. What concerned me Tuesday is that fabulous as he was, when they scored it was only Sean Clohessy taking time to try and calm him down.

The fact that it hurts him so much when the opposition scores makes him even more of a hero in my book.

If you follow the logic.....................Luggy is well aware how good Bilel is and he must therefore must be MAD not to give him a start? This I'm afraid, for me, is a limited viewpoint............PS is NOT mad and knows exactly (or as exact as one can be in handling a volatile commodity) how to maximise from Mohsni's talents, whilst at the same time minimising the risk of adverse effects on the pitch. It's Luggy who will decide and as his knowledge of the player and the squad is far more than mine, I'm very happy to go along with whatever he decision he comes to.

How come every time we lose a game these days we're described as gutless? It's possible to be outplayed, or have an off day. It seems the standard reaction now, we lose, so we slate everyone in the team, boo the players, lambust our top goalscorer, and describe the team as gutless.

Morris having a mare, and the defence making mistakes doesn't automatically qualify the result as gutless. You can work hard, play with passion and still make mistakes and still under perform. And that's what happened, against a good side at this level that punished us. That doesn't make us gutless.

The Mohsni debate has been done to death now , but if people still think that keeping one of our best players on the bench , only to be called upon when things are going wrong , is the right thing to do , then you are clearly not watching the same team as me.
We have done really well to be where we are this season especially when you consider the position when Sturrock took over.
But come on , we don't have such an abundance of talent , that Mohsni can't get in the starting 11.
I know people will also ask about his best position etc , but let's pick Mohsni and Hall first ( as they have the most talent ) and worry about the rest after................ slightly tongue in check last comment but you get my point.

OK gutless may be a bit strong, but I think a lot of players defintely underperformed that night, and in his after match interview I think Luggy thought so as well.

Anyway I think on our day we still have a great team/squad who can still beat any team in this division without a doubt. Lets hoping they do the business against Plymouth today! UTB.
