Morecambe FC

Did they get a 10 point deduction?
Not in administration.

The board dithered in deciding what they was going to to. They thought about resigning from the board twice but thought it was best they stayed and did sod all instead. They then gave a deadline with the threat of putting the club into adminstration which was moved twice.

They could have been put into administration this morning had the board pulled their fingers out. Instead their sitting on their hands attitude has allowed the owner to dismiss the board. So now only he can put them into administration (or a judge but I'm not aware if any court cases)

Sponsors of Morecambe are starting to pull out and creditors are demanding their money:

"Bay Camera and Communications have been a proud sponsor and supplier of Morecambe FC since we were incorporated in 2009. With the current dealings and shenanigans of the ownership, the non payment of our good friends the staff of Morecambe FC, as well as the sacking of the board of directors our managing director Tim Barbary has made the decision to stop all sponsorship and support of Morecambe Football Club with immediate effect. We will not be renewing any maintenance contracts or providing any sponsorship until the club is sold."

Interesting read the latest statement. We have other buyers interested but Punjab Warriors are the furthest along.

Wonder if his stalling in the hood of selling the club to another party. Would Punjab Warriors get any of the £3.8m they have supposedly put in back...
