We may well sign someone, maybe 2 someones, but the question is, why wait until the last day of the transfer window to repalce players who either left, or were placed on the transfer list, months ago?

There is always a huge amount of business saved up, by all clubs, to be done on deadline day. Players of a certain standard and selling clubs will always hold out as long as possible for the best deals and opportunities. This is particularly the case when the buying club is not especially glamourous to player or selling club. I'm afraid we fall into that category.

Because we have a good dressing room spirit and with SUFC thats what its all about sod quality!

its like Old Blue Treacle is in-charge, it don't matter if the player is useless as long as he can crack a good laugh and a joke in the dressing room hes gotta play!

Can't help being optimistic about things and never saying die till there's no alternative! Besides, if you've got good team spirit then you feel more positive as an individual which in turn makes you more inclined to try to put in the type of performances requried.
