I remember my Doc saying that in a lot of ways serious ligament damage is worse then a break! lets hope this isnt the case.....

That's very true, can take longer than a break to heal, I have personal experience with an injury my wife once suffered; ended up as a permanent problem. Just hope this isn't becoming the case with Bilel as he does seem to have a problem with that ankle.

It's true that an ankle with ligament damage can be more susceptible to further injury and my experience of this resulted in it being weaker than the other ankle. However, I am pleased to report that I played some of the best football of my long career after this nasty injury, as the glittering array of Pickles Cup winner's medals and Player Of The Year/Tournament trophies around Shrimpero Mansions doth testify.

I hope the club are sensible and protect him as its in both player and clubs interest that he makes a full recovery as these type of injuries if not dealt with properly
can end up career threatening and his value to the club would decline but more importantly he is just starting a promising career and looks like he could make a big name for himself so he needs to be fully fit and not rushed back for his own sake because you can see he is the type of person that would play carrying a injury for the club and his own team mates
