This week is a special request from my Battle of the Bands nemesis Blueblood :D

Released in 1987, and brought to the notice of the Indie heads in the UK by the godlike John Peel, The Sugarcubes were an Icelandic band fronted by an beeyootiful and impish woman with a strange name: Björk Guðmundsdóttir

Unfortunately the band split in 1992, Bjorky went solo, starred in some films, beat up journalists and wore some strange frocks....
