Look on the bright side, at least PB is still trying to bring players in!!

Though we have had no luck at the moment, let's stay positive as there are plenty of players out there and plenty of time yet

Oh to be a club where players want to come to you.
Perhaps the problem is not the club but the League. Doesn't look as though many players, that are anywhere near decent, are keen to come and ply their trade in League Two.........can anyone blame them? If that is the case players may well hesitate about signing up in the hope that something better will turn up. If that's true, could we struggle to sign anyone with a bit of quality until the end of July?

According to the Echo he has favoured a move to Florida and taken his family with him.

Now I for one certainly don't blame him choosing that option as I know were I would rather be and I'm Southend through and through!!

However regarding the league two comments, I personally don't feel league one is all that better, other than being a league higher.

Can't say i'm surprised, he left Shrewsbury after their relegation to League 2, why would he want to move to another League 2 club?

If it doesn't mean a lot why were we disappointed not to get promoted?

Much of League One isnt much better than League Two, the bottom and top halves of each probably about the same standard. However for a player being in League One means a higher salary and status. He is also just one step away from the Championship.

At his age certainly dont blame him for choosing Florida over playing some northern league two team on a Tuesday night in January!

Just because there isn't much between the 2 leagues doesn't mean I want us to stay in league 2!!

Anyway my aim is championship and last time I looked you have to go via league one to get there

Might be David Beckhams new franchise Miami FC, what a great first signing that'd be!

They don't join the MLS til 2015. More likely that he's joining Orlando City, who join MLS this year as a new franchise long with New York City.
