A Bit of Fun MKD's Winkleman to approach RM re perm mission

Makes me laugh when he says this:

"We have got one of the most coveted jobs in management" The guy is deluded, surely?

I think he missed out a couple of words. I think he meant to say:

"We have got one of the 92 most coveted jobs in management"

Either that or he meant to say:

"We haven't got one of the most coveted jobs in management"

As a concept, MK Dons stink. Nicking Wimbledon, moving them 90 miles away, changing their name; it's all bad.

However, having done all that they are now a very decent proposition. I hope to see that club bomb out of the league and be a total failure, but that's not going to happen. They've got a lot of potential and that job is a cracking opportunity for a manager.

Ok, maybe saying it's "one of the most coveted" is over egging the pudding a bit, but it's still a pretty good gig.

Its very well supported up here. Many people's 2nd team (certainly not mine, that's St. Etienne).

Sadly, all true. I'd hoped the Franchise scum would be an epic failure, but they're not going to be, are they?

I guess the only consolation is that at least AFC Wimbledon are doing so well - they're already in the Blue Sq. Premier and thus only one rung below the Football League and only two below Franchise FC.

Quick question. Where in that article did you get the idea that he wants Tilson?

Apologies for the confusion - the heading should have had a space between perm and mission - maybe a mod can fix?

Was just thinking how well turned out our chairman is compared to this beatnik :)
