Apparently there's a Wetherspoons across the dual carriageway from the ground, so thats a pretty child-friendly option.

There would be! IIRC isnt the Dons chairman (or previous chairman if he's not still there) the owner of Wetherspoons pub chain and the man responsible for taking football to MK?

and the only way to get there is to walk across the dual carriageway so very child friendly!
