It is a year ago this Saturday that Katie passed away, not the choice of fixture I would have chosen for the day but I will be there in spirit, and as you know Shrimperzone have done amazing things in her memory. Thanks in no small part to Gareth, Paul, Ken, Cricko and other zoners we have now raised onver £15,500 in Katie's memory for Little Havens.

I am pleased to announce that a website dedicated to Katie's memory went live tonight. It is www.friendsofkatie.co.uk and we intend to keep it regularly updated and become the second best website in the world.

Please let me know what you think and there is message board there too.

Incidentally the colours are Katie's favourite and are purple and turquoise and not claret and blue!

Just one comment, the pictures of Katie on the front page changed a little fast for me, I think they could do with longer on each image.

I had no difficulty with it, which is unusual for me - ran smooth as clockwork. There's no doubting the colour scheme is anything other than what it is and can't be confused with any "other" football team. Well done!

Very moving and truly inspiring. Words can't express how proud you must be of your daughter and her memory. Of course you don't need to be a parent to be moved when reading her story and looking at the pictures, however it's as a Daddy that the site pulled hardest at my heartstrings. Certainly my kids (including my very own Katie, my daughter Kathleen) will be getting an extra big hug as a result when they wake up.
