sky sports transfer centre says that miguel llera is leaving charlton on a free in the summer. Wouldn't mind him here. lives near enough.

what does everyone think??
presuming we can afford him.

And he'd be on a fair wedge, that we wouldn't need to pay at all. Get Phillips' hernia sorted and him and Barks at centre half with Mohsni flitting in and out of form is fine. If we can add Butcher, keeping Prosser to cover left back as well then we won't be looking for a centre half anyway.

Normally with you on pretty much everything but I think you way off the mark here. Phillips is a total crock and has been a complete waste of a seasons money and Prosser is woeful. His height is the only postive from him I can draw. Truely one of the worst technical footballers I have ever seen.

The problem Phillips has had this year has been directly linked to a problem that was not diagnosed, therefore it was made worse. I believe he's now seen one of the best in the business to help cure it and he should be able to take part in a full pre season to push on.

I'm not really advocating Prosser staying, in fact I think he was pretty poor yesterday, but at the end of the day he's going to be kept on as cheap cover and 4th/5th choice centre back and 2nd choice left back. It also means that we won't be needing to go out and find and more importantly pay another left back to come in to cover Gilbert and replace Herd.
