Just found this on the Oldham supporters message board...thought it was a good summary of Ricketts apart from the bit in bold!

Ricketts - always seems to me he just cant be arsed to run and get involved, as though he always down in the dumps. He does flick it on well and is a strong presence in attack, can get it down at times too but doesnt show enough hunger and desire to be in the box for the goals.

LOL, either that or he bent down to tie his laces when Oldham had a corner, then the ball deflected off his substantial fat ar.se.

Wouldn't want to be the poor sod who has to sit next to him on the coach to away games, all jammed up against the window like a sardine..

BTW they subbed (P)rickets after he had scored & won their penalty & brought the murderer on.
