Steve McMahon, ex liverpool tuff nut and now Blackpool manager has taken the reigns at my local club Perth Glory.
Not sure if this is good or bad for him.
The Aussie league is currently defunct and wont be beginning again until 2006 in the form of 8 teams.
Glory get about and average gate of 12,000 and have won the league 2 years in a row so the desire should be there, however there isn't much passion on the pitch which is not his style at all.
I think he'll find it difficult to rouse 100% work rate in 100 degree heat.
