McCormack Incident

Folks,

Just to let you know, I've had to delete the McCormack thread. Apologies if there was an interesting discussion going on in that thread; however, to make it clear, it was based on a fundamental untruth.

Alan McCormack was not knocked out in training today.

Alan has spoken to one of my trusted sources, and I understand that there was an altercation at training today between Alan and another player; but my understanding is that that incident is now done and dusted, and that we should consider it a closed chapter (and hopefully, the players concerned will too).

What is beyond question, however, is that no one was "knocked out", so could we please ensure that stories don't get embellished before they get posted on here. Alan had read the story, and was rather upset about it, given that it was untrue.

For the record, ShrimperZone.com apologises to Alan for any offence or upset caused by the inaccurate story.

Remember, folks - we're here to get behind the players, especially Alan - now that Kev Maher has crossed the Thames - and spreading scurrilous and inaccurate stories are hardly going to help the players' motivation as they gear up for the very challenging task of trying to get us into the playoffs.

Thanks in advance for your co-operation.

Matt
