McCormack - Started in a very angry fashion and could easily have a yellow already.
Francis - His usual dodgy "I can't be bothered attitude" and caught out of position again.
Revell - Hasn't been in the game yet but won a corner getting injured in the process.

Thought Francis was pretty much the same old Francis. Prone to the odd lapse in concentration, but still put in some cracking balls.

How good was Gary Doherty though? Ran the show tonight, superb CB. Absoleute rock.

I'd love to see Dean Cox at Southend as well, but no chance of that happening.

It was on SS3. Thought they made the right choice with their MOTM, Wagstaff reminded me a lot of Freddy Eastwood, both the way in which he took his goal and how he made the 3rd, and yes, I also thought Macca was lucky not to concede a penalty but must have been given the benefit because of the proximity etc. Franno looked a little unfit, Revs played well for Orient.

I thought all three played like they did for us. revell did a lot of running but has no end product, francis looked much better going forward than defensively and macca played on the edge the whole time, time bomb waiting to happen. interesting though that although he got forward and scored an excellant goal he seemed more defensive today. re the penalty shout in the slow mo it clearly shows his head rocking back from the impact of the ball. i noticed gary birtles change his view on it after the 10th replay. would have been very harsh to be given. orient look like they could struggle, apart from dawson lacked quality.....shame, cockney rejects!!!!
