Matt Harrold + Drewe Broughton

Both will be involved in tonights game between Wycombe and Rotherham kicking off now, live on sky sports 1. Matt's starting, with Drewe Rotherhams top scorer oddly on the bench.

Will be interesting to see them bot, especially Harrold as he is aparently having the season of his career!

Sorry this is pointless but
DDDDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEE
Would be good to see them both score a hat trick in an amazing 4-3 win for Wycombe with Lewis Hunt scoring in injury time, is Hunty playing?

Wycombe play some good stuff. Harrold just doesn't give the ball away. Surely we should have kept him and saved the money spent on Revell

Looking at the form he's in now you would say that. Harrold was awful when he was here, couldn't play a simple ball, let alone shoot. This season he has been in great form but Revs is a better all around player, although Harrold might have been in better form but a league lower than Revs. You could say the same thing with Kightly, Hooper and a few other players but at the time the best decision was to sell him

Don't agree mate. I thought we often played better as a team when he was playing. When you say Revs is a better all round player do you mean he runs around a lot?

assuming wycombe go up... i bet harrold scores against us next season haha.
good luck to the lad. he tried hard, but just wasnt good enough.
p.taylor seems to have got the best out of him.

Not just that, in my opinion he's a better passer and can hold the ball up better, better defensively, better finisher and makes better runs. You've made some good points though

Strange that. I think he can't pass, doesn't win enough headers, is a poor finisher and is usually out of position as he thinks chasing the ball round the pitch is the way to play. What you might call a moving target man.

Some of that is right but can't agree with some of it unfortunately, so I'll use the statement no-one can argue with, he works hard. Revs isn't our best striker but he is better than Harrold was here, sorry

Harrold was massively underrated in his spell here. His performance tonight for Wycombe was a very good performance and was one of Wycombe's main threats. He played similiar games for us but very few people on here noticed it.

His link up play, his touch and his ability in the air was all on show tonight.

Drewenaldo played well when he come on with the little he saw of the ball, making some good touches, especially the lay off with the chest.

Also, Leon Johnson played centre half for Wycombe and wasn't tested to be honest.

Dont be sorry, its a difference of opinion. Revs doesnt work harder than Harrold, just runs around more. My dog runs around a lot if you throw him a ball.
My main complaint with Revell is when he is playing up front, and we are using him as a target man, he's nearly always out of position so the target isnt there.
Also Harrold didnt cost us £150000.

I'm not saying Revell doesn't drift out of position, he does and that's one of his weaknesses but only because he's working hard. I don't think he was worth £150,000 either and it could have been money better spent, Harrold's link up play was quite good but the way we played him, as more of a target man, didn't suit his style, he is a better headerer than Revs and in some aspects is a better player but Revell, in my opinion, is the better player. I don't think our tactics suited Harrold and maybe his skills were too different, I think he has done well to go to a very good League 2 side and show what he can do when played in a way that suits him and I think the move worked out well for both parties
