Firstly today would have not been possible without the help of Finn over at The Blues News Podcast so please go and show him the love and support oyu have shown me for so long, his channel details are in the video description and though out the video. IMO,ot what was needed or planned today, from what I heard from BBC Essex commentary we dominated the from 0 - 75, totally had Sutton under the cosh and all was plain sailing until the final 30 seconds when disaster hit.

Having not been at the game its hard to say if we were hard done by this afternoon however the general feel coming out of the game is that we sat on a 1 goal lead like we have many times this season and road our luck & today we were caught out. Kev faces a massive task to pick this boys up and get them going again this Saturday against Solihull who likewise are not safe from the drop as of yet.

Firstly congrats D! Well done Finn , great work - loved the burger review , queues though worse than at Barnet so opted to queue for a beer in the sun instead

Thought we lacked intensity today , and as others have said same old failings up top

Hayes had to do better with what was a grubber of a shot & where was the cover

2 points dropped , depressing train ride home even a few beers at Blackfriars didn’t lift the mood

However that’s Southend , never easy as I have learned over the years
