Evening All,

To put this bluntly.. that was shocking.

After reading the Post Match Thread even Barnet fans seem to agree that we were ****e!

What annoys me the most & will most likely be the same as all of you is that even though we are 2-0 down on 60 minutes, Kev didn't think " We are clearly struggling to contain them, Why don't I switch it up a bit" And we stuck with the same losing formation.

Paul Clark alluded to it on BBC Essex when he said you have to be "flexible" during games with tactics and formations, hate to say this but Kev isn't that. Love him to bits & grew up watching him captain the team that won promotions and beat Man U in the cup but now im on the fence for his future.

Cheers lad. Tough watch that. First 20 I thought ok not bad keep it going then we concede from a corner again Unfortunately, have to question the keepers positioning on all three of their goals and the second, Gus got done and gave up and just put his hands in the air, that f..ked people off.

Can handle losing but it’s the way you lose and again instead of making positive changes to put them on the back foot and go for it we just continue on the same old path.

Unfortunately, I can’t see us beating Daggers next week either as there just to much negativity flying about.

Sideways and backwards everywhere we go made me laugh but that’s where we are right now .

Credit to Barnet though? They looked the real deal and felt it could have been a lot worse it they’d stepped up a gear.

Well done again D - think your opening comments summed it up as well
As blues fans we are used to “ interesting times” supporting , enduring some pretty poor teams, players , albeit sprinkled in with some highs , but yesterday I felt was so depressing

In recent games against Barnet, I felt we probably should have got something out of them, but yesterday no passion, energy , quality unlike them - let’s remember as well as wanting to win we want to be entertained - !!

As to the officials ..,

Ashamed to say for the first time ever I left after 3rd goal to start my 2 hour journey home

Anyway , always the optimist , on to D&R next week - surely can’t play that poorly again but fearful of another dire performance , but hopefully something for us travelling shrimpers to cheer
