I am a BI Developer, using Cubes and WPF. I have been looking into a database model to store football stats to enable people to look up weird stuff like if an opponent's name begins with T do we win more often on a Saturday or Tuesday night.

How have you guys stored the data?

Is it just me or has some idiot rated every player 1/10? Yes you're angry, but what is the point of ruining one of SZ's best features with a childish vote?
 
We have put in measures to stop this happening in future and will be altering any votes which are clearly submitted to skew results.

There is also the problem of idiots making a mockery of this by awarding their favourites top marks however they perform!
How an 8 or 9 can be given to a sub who only played about a third of the match is beyond belief. He would need to have been outstanding and changed the game completely from a losing situation to a comfortable win to earn that.

Perhaps one of the highest and lowest mark for each player should be discounted. Someone saw fit to award a perfect 10 to Dickinson for his faultless MOTM game!:nope:
