Mark Hughes - Clock is Ticking!

I read in the NOTW (yes I know they talk rubbish) that the Abu Dhabi group are already in talks with Marcelo Lippi as a replacement for Mark Hughes and after losing to Spurs I can see him going if he loses another 1 or 2 games.

Cant See Lippi because he has gone back to Italy.

But Hughes should have until at least Jan.

Remember these people have silly amounts of money and want results now. So if they don't get them they get rid, look at Leicester and Mandaric how many managers have they gone through.

These people do have more money thn sense. Unless results improve soon I can see Hughes sending out his CV! I think its stupid though - he is a good manager - just look what he did at Blackburn - and all this axe-weilding from high cashed chairman and owners is bad for the game. They should look at what has happened at teams like Leicester, Palace, Tottenham and Newcastle recently to see handing managers their P45's before they have celebrated a year's anniversary at the club does not do the club any favours.

Indeed, more money than sense.

And what good has the revolving door policy done at Leicester?

I have been thinking this for a few weeks, they gave him the dreaded vote of confidence before a ball had been kicked. They still have the core of the team that did so well last season plus SWP and Robinho so I'm surprised results haven't been better.

apart from bring them down to our level, hopefully now they have an understanding that a team takes time to build...and managers need time to build that team.

Ladbrokes go 13/8 that he is out before January 31st and 5/6 that he's not their manager for the start of next season.

No chance on Mourinho.

Hope he doesn't go, frankly, I like the bloke, but, what's that song? "That's the way the money goes..."
