That's a completely pointless table because it doens't take budget into account. For example, would Alex Fergusson have done as well us PS if he was our manager? We simply don't know.

When budget was taken into account two of the top five managers of recent times were PS and Tilly.

Does someone have the link to that thread from last season (I think it was)?

The only list of this kind worth looking at is the one in Soccernomics, as it takes into account a whole host of factors to determine the managers who exceed expectations according to the club's wage bill. Both Sturrock and Tilson feature prominently.

Well done Brian Flynn, 6th best manager with his 6 points from 3 games. As if there's not a minimum games stipulation. Gash

So, anyway, what is a "mangerial table"?

And, as cockface Evans is above Sturrock, that's enough to tell me this is a pile of horse poo :stunned:

oooh, that avoided the swear filter!

Stats in the Echo tonight for the last 12 Southend managers with more than 100 games managed show that Sturrock has the best win rate and the lowest loss rate. We are very lucky to have Sturrock

that is totally wrong! How bbc rates Evans, a manager who tries to buy success, but fails! Above a boss who gets good teams out of barely any players and manages within his budget is beyond me! Evans is a scumbag.

It's a points per game table not a scumbag table.
