SUFC: The Future Managing expectations

Despite our club surviving, some amazing progress already under COSU, several good new players, and an unbeaten start to the season, I know some people are feeling a bit gloomy about our prospects for the season.

Since we lost 1-0 at home to York City on 10th February, we then went on a 15 match unbeaten run which put us in the playoffs, if not for the 10 point deduction. In our last 17 matches, we have had 8 wins, 8 draws and only one defeat (and that to a late goal by Rochdale in our last match of 2023/24), scoring 27 and conceding 13. That is none too shabby!! I expect we will grow into this season and am still hoping for some additions to the squad.
