First time we've had a player win for a while, well done PB and especially well done Wozza!

Manager of the month twice in the last 3 months....he has to go, I may stay away from roots hall until this happens.
Worrall has been outstanding I would have been amazed if he had not won it.

Well done to both especially Worrall who has made a massive impact and made Phills award possible.

First person to mention the c word that rhymes with curse go stand in the corner.

You don't mean the word that rhymes with purse, do you? Or can you not read this as your head is now facing the wall?

:winking:

Haha, thats why I dont post from my phone very often.

Off to the corner I go...

Is it just me that finds it a little ironic that Worrall couldn't get a game at the start of the season when Hurst was embarrassing himself and the club on the pitch and now Brown wouldn't have won this award without DW?

I'm not blinded by hate and will give credit where it's due to Brown but you can't honestly tell me that we're playing the same style of football we were in late September and all of October?

It's still not been great, but I don't think it has to be this year as I don't think the league is as strong as previous seasons, but our general play has improved as we weren't stifling our better players when we went 1-0 up and thought that was job done.

Coincidently our form improved after chants of "you don't know what you're doing" were ringing around the stadium

The real test comes this month and the new year period and especially next Saturday at Wycombe!

With Hindsight it is clear that Worrall should have been playing, but thats hindsight for you!

Wasn't Worrall lacking match fitness as he didnt have a proper pre-season? I read that somewhere, not sure how true it is.

I dont think the style has particulary changed, he has moved to more of a 442/4411 formation but I just think we have just found our feet a little more. The stifling of play at 1-0 was in my opinion more to do with self confidence and self belief in dealing with an opponent upping their game than an intentional game plan. Worrall's form has been the key thing, I said during the run that we just needed a spark to turn these tight results in our favour and he has been the one to provide it.

Whether that continues over the next couple of games we shall see, Wycombe will be a massive challenge even if we had been unbeaten since August.

Hopefully Worrall can continue his form, Payne can kick on and even the likes of Hurst can come in without the pressure to be the one to deliver every game.

1. Worrall hadn't had a full pre-season
2. We were told he was struggling to settle in the area to begin with

Just meant he was not pulling up trees in training or off the bench to initially. Eventually took his chance and hopefully as they say the rest is history..

Interesting also that this is the third year on the trot a SUFC manager has won November MOM. Dont think we have lost in November in the league since November 2011. Guess weve had no Tuesday night games at home during these periods!!!

Is it called the Santa rally? Fascinating stats!! All the same well done Brown for eventually bringing Worrall in, he does listen to us in the end? Next he will be giving Williams or Lynch a go from the bench?
