Remember seeing the show about it on Sky ages ago. He sold everything he had apart from one set of clothes.

Wish praying for him to loose.
 
Its true. Thing to bear in mind is he had so much publicity, and the TV Show I would imagine the money he made from the "adventure" could have gone some way to cover the bet.

This happened a few years back too, two guys had about £75,000 saved between them and headed off to Vegas, no idea what happened to them though.
