Malone loan up?

The Beeb is reporting that Malone's loan hasn't been extended yet.

Anyone know whether this has gone through yet and any ideas as to what we'd do without him?

I think he'd be a big miss, he's got a little bit of extra class about him. I suppose the alternative would be Barrett at left-back with Francis at centre-half and Osei at right-back. Or just Osei at left-back, which would give him the chance of continuing the long established tradition of crap left-backs who never score, finding the net against our in-bred neighbours.

Herd is fit, but lacks a little match fitness so I'd expect him to come straight in and play 70 minutes or so, depending on how we're doing.

According to Thursday's Echo Malone's loan has been extended (and as we all know the Echo always tells the truth ;)) but I haven't seen anything official anywhere to say that it has so I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

That's a big boost if the alternative was Herd.
