Ticket News Maher Testimonial Match - Fri 16th May - Maher XI v Premier League Legends

Anyone know if this will be streamed for the exiles? Would love to see it, and would also put a few more quid in the coffers
That’s a great idea. Might be worth recommending to the media team. They’ve recently upped their game and our media is the best it’s ever been. I’m sure this could be considered, but not sure on what equipment would be needed etc to make it a pleasurable experience for a viewer at home. Watched a fair few dismal streams of actual games this year from our league counterparts, the commentary on the Ebbsfleet game on Monday was abhorrent.

I doubt that would be possible as we’ve always used third party streaming platforms that we’re signed up to by the EFL/National League. This wouldn’t fall in DAZNs remit so they’d need to set up an alternative for a testimonial. Might be possible but I’d be surprised.

Was hoping to take my kids in the south upper as that might have kept their interest a bit longer (they are 5 & 6) but as it wasn't open have plumped for My usual East stand seat and the 2 next to me.

Really looking forward to it and also hope that this isn't the last match we see this season

Rights wise it shouldnt be a problem surely?

Needs a cameraman up there with an internet connection, There is already a cameraman up there i assume for the highlights?

im sure i recall watching a southend game on youtube at some point. Maybe pre season?

They could even take donations like many streamers do. I wouldnt expect a flawless pro stream, just be nice to watch.

Yeah it wasn’t really the rights I was thinking about. More just what platform it could be broadcast on. There might be something which could be used for a one off game but I dunno if it would be financially worthwhile for the club. I hope they sort something though

Be ideal to have a Free Live stream to youtube, in the chat accept donations and get some banter going too. It could stay on the sufc channel as well.
