Why oh why does Maher never get subbed when he is having a bad game, even though that would mean 95% of games.

Once again on Sunday he can't head the ball, tackle, every freekick is the same just lobs it in giving defenders time to settle. Your never see him whipping the ball in with pace.

I am a huge Maher fan, always have been even since he signed for us and he was possibly the worst player in the squad. I have to agree that towards the end he was obviously tired and running on empty but this was definately due to the fact that he had been running his socks off for the first 90 minutes.

Maher has had a good season but Ferguson & Co did a job on him. Although Darren Ferguson is not top quality , he is better than we have faced all season and it showed.

Idiot, if you think Maher plays badly 95% of the time then you honestly should start watching another sport, perhaps one you understand.

I went to the game yesterday , as a neutral wanting southend to win , but i came away thinking this :
Southend did not look like the would score
there was not enough shooting at goal
Too many passes went missing
Mark Gower was poor
Keving Maher was Poor and towards the end of the game i watched him for about 5 mins and he did not run at all , he walked ! As captain of the team that is pathetic !
Barrett and Bnetley were by far Southend's best players and they showed alot of character when others around them were chincking the towell , and the supporters of Southend were top draw , considering Wrexham is alot closer ! Hope you Win the League !
