magic of the Cup?

Low crowd also due to huge unrest between fans and current owner who seems to have bent over backwards to upset the fan base and unaspiring opposition.

To me Blyth Spartens v Birmingham should have been live on television games like this are what the FA cup are all about not Arsenal v Hull .

Agreed. And our 4th round game against Hull, last season, should have been on the box too,for the same reason.

Blyth 1-0 up and all.

I'd be tuning in now if this was on TV.

I couldn't care less about Arsenal v Hull.

Dover/Palace would be even more betterer!

Big chances for the BBC to put money into some lower clubs - I doubt Arsenal need TV revenue.

There was some pretty big away support in the FA Cup yesterday. Apparently Ipswich taking 5,500 fans to Southampton today,

Helps that they are on a good run and look like going back to the Premiership. We all know a bit of success or pulling a decent tie brings all the fans out of the closet.

Performance of the round must have been Rochdale's win against Notts. Forest (unless AFC Wimbledon can produce a shock result tonight).

Yet this game got just a couple of minutes (if that ) on Saturday's MOTD cup highlights.

Magic of the cup,indeed.

Did you know that every Man Ure FA Cup game for about the last 10/11 years has been shown live on TV?

The TV companies can't see beyond their viewing figures. Now, for BT Sport and ITV (and Sky) I get that because their attendance figures affect their revenue, but the BBC then choose Arsenal and Hull?

What a joke.

They played very well and if it wasn't for a couple of good saves from De Gea they would have won. Donaldson looks a decent player.
