Loud and Proud

Skyblue

Manager
Congratulations to all you lucky Shrimpers whohelp made such a tremendous atmosphere at the Hall last night. The noise coming across the airwaves was amazing and completely drowned out anthing from Man U. Were there any reds actually singing? Were there any Essex reds in the home ends making a noise like earlier feared? and was the away support as gracious in defeat as their manager?

Apparently there were a couple of Essex Mancs sitting in the row behind me. I was too involved in the match to notice though.

Great atmosphere at Roots Hall.Best I've known since thelast days of the North Bank. I couldn't hear the away fans at all but I think that was because we were so loud.

I was sitting right next to the man Ure fans in the west, they did sing for the majority of the first half but it was a superb atmosphere last night just a shame we cant do that every game.

We saw 2 man ure "fans" just in front of us but even if they did dare to try and sing they would have been completely drowned out! Im deaf in both ears and as yet have not got my voice back

Noise in the West where I was was deafening, especially the whistles calling for full time. And the booing of Ronaldo obviously

All we heard from our position from the Mancs in the North was one muffled chant of "United! United! United!" at one corner in the 2nd half and that was it!!!!!
