That, with the blanks filled, would probably be a good enough team to get league one promotion wouldn't it?
 
Personally I think 2 strikers, a midfielder to replace Bentley and another centre back is needed.

It's all very well saying "Hunt can do a job there" or "Hammell can play centre back if desperately needed" but the thing is we don't want people who can do a job there if needed, we need a player who's specialist position is that. If Sodje or Barrett lack form or get a bad injury, we need someone who can come in without any noticeable change or who would improve it.

Same with the strikers, so I'm glad to hear Tilly say he wants 2 more ideally.

Shame that Tabb has gone to Coventry though.

Yea, in an ideal world we'd have a 30 man squad!

We have to be realistic and accept that due to budget restraints, we may not be able to fill each position with a backup and thats where utility players play their parts.

I know they play more football in div 2, but we'd still need a bigger midfield than Maher, Gutts, JCR and Gower.
 
Two more strikers required, I reckon - Championship football will probably be a step too far for Lawson at the moment.

Bradbury, Cole, Smith.
 
Smith isnt good enough for the Championship at the moment. since his injury he hasnt looked the same player. He didnt exactly set the world alight last season in league 2 when he went to Oxford.

I think we need another back up CB maybe 2 spinner is retiring next year.
A CM, Andy Robinson maybe.
A Striker, and finally a backup winger
On the wing we have Bradbury,Gower, Cole,JCR but i still believe we need 1 more as i am not sure whether the likes of Bradbury and Gower will be able to handle it in the championship

Gower will be first choice on the left, rightly or wrongly.

Personally i'm more of a fan of Mitchell Cole than Gower but who cares, Freddy will bang in 20 again next season so we'll be fine!
