London Bridge

When we arrived last night at london bridge police told us not to go any further for a few minutes as millwall were bein escorted through. So we stood watching them go through all little chavs giving it the big one. Just wondered if any shrimpers had ne run in's with this millwall group as they seemed intent to cause trouble!!

Had a small run in with a group walking to London Bridge before the game at 6.45pm, abuse - beer being thrown, thankfully it was rush hour, loads of people about so thats a brave as they got

Millwall are great, aren't they? They're like a parody of themselves now.

I'm not usually overjoyed to see Orient pick up points, but I was altogether in favour of last night's result.

You will be pleased to know that the amount of pink Nicholson (sic?) shirt-wearing chavs was at its usual disgraceful level in the away end last night. But enough about Selhurst (LOLOLOLOLKINGROLLO

), we gave them a good slapping on the pitch and they got a good slapping from the cozzers off it after they tried to kick off with ten minutes to go. Horrible club, horrible fans. They were particularly peed off by our re-working of "No-one likes us"....

I used to sell stuff round Millwall way, I found the vast majority of Millwall fans decent and pleasant.

Don't worry about me - I'd ran away like a little girl if I was in any trouble.

Plus the only spots of bother were a bit of Millwall-Shammers stuff before the game, and then the chavs getting uppity in the ground towards the end.

I'll echo those comments. My brother in law (and his Dad) have been Millwall season ticket holders since he was a young lad, and I would not tar him (or his Dad) as scum!! Nothing like stereotyping a whole club Fred.

We have scum within our club who only look for trouble, but I sure as hell hope other sets of fans don't brand me scum because of them!

Most of the ones i have met in the UK and overseas are allright actually, very South London and lairy but always a good crack and make a night our enjoyable.

You will also find that they are top salesman and the old LIFE floor was full of them maknig a fortune back in the day.

At least they are the total opposite of West Ham fans who are the most fical bunch you will ever meet.

Every club has got its good fans and its bad ones. One or two clubs (in my experience - Stoke, Cardiff, Leeds and Millwall seem to be amongst the ringleaders...) seem to have a few more idiots and/or revel in their "bad boy" image than other clubs.

And that's not merely an opinion, it's a factual statement supported by arrest statistics.

However, to damn the whole support base by reference to the misbehaviour of a limited proportion of it is a trifle foolish.

Still, I can't say that I'm disappointed at not having to go to the New Den this season, despite the fact that I could walk home afterwards...
