Anyone think it would beneficial to send Asante or Crawford on loan to Plymouth when our strikers are in better shape (A week or two)?. They'd earn match experience in League Two, something that would really help them and they'd probably play week in week out. The wages may be a problem but they can't be on that much? I'm sure that we could pay 50% of the wages for a few months.

On the other end of the spectrum, if we do loan out Crawford and/or Asante would it be worthwhile to bring in Leon Clarke again? He did great for us last time he was on loan here (8 in 16) and is available after Di Canio said he wouldn't pick him again and would offer him out. It depends on letting players leave though.

All if's and buts however, but I'm interested in what Southend fans think of both these possibilities?

I'd be happy with that, but from what I gather Clarke to Plymouth seems more likely.

Plymouth has been rumoured on the Swindon sites I've looked at (I've been following this whole sage because I've got Leon Clarke in a fantasy football game....). I think Swindon just want him out no matter where or how much of his wages they have to cover.

Well the only position we're really light on at the moment is up front so could Leon Clarke actualy be the man?

Thought he was excellent the first time he was here (Apart from getting sent off away at Notts Forest for headbutting the right back who's name escapes me).
