Little Britain Series 2 Thread

Watched it when I got in last night. Not bad, a lot of material was from the extra's on DVD Series 1, so that spoilt it a bit.

Liked the Jam Tasters ("Please warn me the next time its Lesbian jam").

Some of the voices seemed a little off too...

Looking forward to the rest of it tho... thoughts?

On the whole generally ok but some disturbing bits in there -
including the guy "breast" feeding (not needed) and the aforementioned Jam Tasters.

Disappointed that the Scottish Hotelier didnt feature last night.

Good sketch with Florence "I'm a Lady" and her trainee -
"Dont forget to sit when you take a **** !!"

Was a touch disappointed with it to be honest, although Lou and Andy were superb. Thought the vomiting old ladies were a bit much, although that might have been because I was eating soup at the time

The wonder that is Ray McCooney is supposed to be missing from the whole of series 2.

As you can imagine for me exiled up here, it's provided me with some superb ammunition

No way?! That'd be a sh*tter... He's the second funniest on the show after Lou and Andy...

"Yeee knows toooo much"...

The catchphrase that will catch on will be -
'The computer says no'

Yea, that was funny

Football365 have got t-shirts with "Computer says no" on already...

The Lou and Andy sketch where Andy beat up those kids was pretty funny.

'Bubbles' could become slightly disturbing though!

Lou and andy sketch at the end was fantastic!

I thought it was good overall but it seems people didn't appreciate the 'bitty' sketch, that was well rank though, made my wife cringe!

The Emily Howard sketch was brilliant!

But surely that's part of what cutting edge comedy should do. The League of Gentleman effect and all that ??

good point mate but i thought it went a bit TOO far.
There is a line and that sketch went past that line, for me anyway.

I thought the humour seemed to revert to juvenile , with snot from Andy , gob from fat-fighters woman and vomit from the jam tasters.
Certainly not impressed with the ommission of Ray McCooney.
I don't think the show justified all the hype it got.

I'm gonna be missing all of Little Britain Series 2 as tuesday nights I do my lifeguard training. I aint happy about it because I thought the first series was hilarious. Is the DVD of the first series worth purchasing? I was thinking of getting it for Christmas as I'm skint, but would it be betta to save up and get it before then?

Indeed....I have had a stinking rotten cold all week and have produced plenty of snot!

I agree...I thought it had sold out to slapstick 'laughs for the masses'.
I'll give it another chance next week, if only for Tom Baker's voice-overs, but it's going to have to get considerably better than episode 1 to keep me watching the rest of the series.

Well you'll have to leave the lounge then

(I'm going to regret this....)

I heard that Ray McCooney is missing as they ran out of money and the hotel set costs £6k to build.
