Literary Advice needed..

I was doing the sweepstake at work, and instead of writing peoples proper names on the kit, i just wrote what we call them

Now, one of the chaps is called Kevin.... but we all call him Kevvo... which is how i spelt it, but now there is a debate brewing as to wether Kevvo should have 1 or 2 V's in it?

so is it..

Kevvo

...??
