I saw him a lot in the reserves and I thought he was a very decent centre half in the Alan Hansen mould. A ball playing centre back with a bit of pace and good in the air in the opposition box, but then I guess that's not the sort of player we want at Roots Hall.

Although there are still two games left to play this season Liptak's team Videoton won the league in Hungary last night. As well as appearing for the Hungarian national team regularly now he'll be playing in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League in the summer!

Really pleased for him. I remember watching a stiffs game and his fellow CB literally was translating for him throughout. Looked handy but never thought he could potentially be in the CL!!

That show Tilson is an legend at Southend Utd in own right, but as for talent spotter, he is not perfect as we know it. I have feeling, we would have a great team with Talents that would be spotted property if Sturrock was in charge about 3 years ago!

Proud of our ex blue, who kept Rooney & co quiet until he got injured.

Once he was off England improved and went on to win.
