Life at the top ......

Director⭐
looking at our next six fixtures -

Luton, Tottenham Hotspur, Birmingham City, Norwich City,
Coventry City, West Bromwich Albion,

its time to really appreciate how far the club has come in the
last three years and to appreciate the efforts of everyone.

Absolutely brilliant and looking forward to shocking the "BIG"
boys with a few more performances -

And why not mention what a extreme effing pleasure it has been watching the emergence of the Gypsy King of Roots Hall - Freddy Eastwood - an extraordinary and special talent.

And also to mention that in my 50th year my boyhood dream came true and the Blues beat the biggest club in the world and current Premeirship League leaders in a cup shock -

Lets get the points at Luton - come on you Blues ....

Very good post....

Make you realise how far we have come in such a short space of time.

Lets just hope we can turn it around but as I say a top post.

DtS

& to add to that I will never forget the disappearance of the ManU fans from my office for the rest of the week as my SUFC scarf hung proud on the wall of our office.

Something I often think, but have not put into words, so a great post and a must for staying in the CCC.

As for the gypsy king, he's been fantastic. However, the new low levels SZ has plunged to in recent times give the impression they are only interested in catching Freddy up to no good, never mind his goalscoring exploits. Still, will probably not be an issue for much longer.

Excellent post Rayleigh Boy.
Just two years ago we were looking forward to playing Chester, Wycombe, mansfield and Rushden at this time of the year, we certainly have come a longway in the last 2 years.

Luton perhaps not the best choice of teams to suggest how well we've done but I can't grumble with the rest of your post, quite refreshing

gd thread. does make you think how far we have come.

its easy to forget but its good to read a positive post!

Me too coz I live with a wycombe fan at uni and I had to sit with him in the home end. As their fans became more n more frustrated at being unable to get past eagle I enjoyed it even more.

I was thinking of a similar thing the other day when looking at some of the teams we'd beaten this season:

Sunderland, Leeds Utd, Manchester United, Southampton...

Imagine if someone had said that a few years ago?
