LETS GET BEHIND THE BOYS!

i know everyone is feeling a bit down at the moment and so am i. lets just do our bit and give the team a good cheer and make lot of noise.

southampton are a great side and they are full of goals at the moment but we all know when we play our football we have a good chance of beating anyone in our league. we havn't seen since norwich i feel.

lets just get behind em rather than booing and hopefully they will give us something in return

I don't see any point in getting behind the players.

If I was at work and the boss kept shouting words of encouragement at me everytime I sloped off to the water cooler I'd get over-confident and start trying to do fancy things with the plastic cups.

Nice sentiment Matty, but think its going to take a lot more than us 'getting behind the boys', which incidentally, I think the crowd have done so hugely well given our current predicament, for us to turn this thing around.

It cuts both ways remember, if they want us to get all excited and give them extra support, then they have got to give something back in return.

My sentiments exactly. They want me to scream myself hoarse then they HAVE to give me something to scream about.

110% commitment to the cause
Start the game at 100mph and not stop
Never let their heads go down, no matter what.
And above all show belief in themselves.
Play with the ability and endeavour we all know they have on the day.

Do all of that and I'll quite happily walk away from Roots Hall this Saturday with the mother of all sore throats.

Top post!

i couldn't agree more, it does work both ways, but everyone knows when we cheer they play well, when we don't they play rubbish

all i asked for is commitment and just to knoe that they are trying there hardest. if they go down then ok but if we go down fighting and really give it a go i will be happy,

i just can't help but think we are just around the corner for a couple of good results. call me nieve.
