Less Than Four Days to Ipswich

Suffolk Shrimper In Dorset

Director⭐⭐🦐
Told yer Jeffers was cack - he scored a good goal tonight for Tractor mob who will be creaming themselves for the rest of the week on the back of scoring five (having before Saturday gone 9 hours without scoring).

Are we playing them at the wrong time then? No. They are ****. Hull are worse. We just need to start well, get the confidence, and away we go.

Up the Blues

On the face of it 5-2 looks like Ipswch played brilliantly but reading other forums the general consensus was that Hull defence was **** rather than Ipswich whipping them.

Still gives them a confidence boost ahead of Saturday :(

A loss at home for Hull is worse than a loss away for us.

If we can get a point on Saturday that will be a good result.

We have a fully fit team, less a suspended Foran so have a decent chance to get something.

I'd agree with that, a point wouldn't be the end of the world as long as we follow it up with 3 points in the following games vs Leeds and Burnley.

We can keep saying that a point, or even a defeat 'as other results went for us' isn't the end of the world, but sooner rather than later we are going to have to start winning some more games. Ipswich seems as good a chance of winning as we'll have.

That win over Hull pushes them into midtable complacency, so they should underestimate us. Being away from home is in our favour as the crowd won't be on our back. If we can't beat Ipswich, who exactly are we going to beat?

Relying on winning the games against Hull, Leeds and Luton is just foolish as the players will be under far too much pressure to perform in those games.
