im not disputing that he got a lot of goals and did well for the team.. but personally i found him lazy and was one of those players that i was amazed got so many... as he missed a lot too. we saw that he was a prick when he left and hasn't really set the leagues on fire and got the move to the CCC that he always wanted so i think we can do better and find other young talents who actually want to play for southend

yeah 24goals and we only finished 17th... he was a bad egg in an underachieving team and since he went the rest is history.. i'm not putting the blame fully on connie but im saying i wouldn't have him back because i think we need team players and i wouldnt call connie that

I met him a couple of times & tried to engage him in conversation- he was VERY arrogant & full of himself.:finger:
