Legoland.

Been lots of times to the park itself. Amazing. Would recommend arriving early though. Also maybe worth considering purchasing the Q-Bots, if you want to go on lots of rides. Expensive, but if you hate queueing it is worth it. Makes sure you purchase one of the refillable drinks as well. Think they are £5, but the amount of drink the kids get through makes it worthwhile. Lots of places to eat in the park. My personal favourite is the Pizza & Pasta Buffet. But you can grab something from the Pirates BBQ (Steak baguettes etc) if you want to eat on the move.

Little tip (if you are not in the hotel): Head straight to the bottom of the park and jump on Atlantis, Driving School, Boating School and the Fire Academy first. As these rides will generate huge queues in the high season. With a Q-Bot it makes it easier as it basically queues for you and notifies you when to jump on the ride, with limited waiting time.

Stayed in Legoland Hotel a couple of times as well.

Very expensive during the season (£200+ per night) But cannot fault it really. Especially if you stay in one of the premium fully themed rooms. Very big, clean and exciting rooms, with a little treasure hunt for the kids within the room, where they follow clues and unlock a safe with free lego bits in it (Premium ONLY) The attention to detail is amazing all around the hotel. There is also a huge area of Lego to play with in the main reception area, which will keep the kids and adults entertained. There are various events going on whilst you are there, such as building sessions and kids disco etc. Buffet restaurant is huge and a great selection of top quality food. Again, quite pricey (I think it was £18 Adults and £10 Kids) but worth it. The splash pool is quite small and will get very busy as do the lifts as there are only 2. Staff brilliant. And of course you get to go in the park earlier than everyone else and you are at the end where Atlantis is (Which is one of the busiest rides)

Overall superb. But not sure I would pay the high season rates for it. If you have an annual pass that will save you a few bob. As a one off treat for the kids though, why not. If you are not sure, then go when the park is closed. I know that sounds stupid, but it is half the price and you can check it out. You will get to go in the park for Lego building sessions, but no rides will be open. There is plenty to do in the hotel to entertain them for a 1 night stay.

Any questions. Fire away. I am a bit of a Legoland expert as the boy is obsessed with it!

Spot on. Superb buffet breakfast. And huge choice from fruit/cereal/pastries/waffles/pancakes to cumberland sausages, bacon, various eggs, hash browns etc. Cannot knock the food quality and choice at all. Breakfast is included in the hotel cost as well.

Just booked. £345 for family of four, one night in hotel plus two days in park.

Steep but hopefully worth it.
