Leeds get Thompson back

wouldn't you believe it - when your luck's down its down . Wonder how they swung that one ? Looked much worse than Maher v Donogood from what I saw

from pictures i saw in the paper he had the Southampton player round the neck

To be fair, he was actually trying to calm the situation down, not actually get involved in a fight - The pictures in the Paper do not tell the full story.

When I saw it on the Football League Review I thought it was a very harsh sending off indeed

Spot on! Another sh!te decision for a team at the bottom! Leeds may have got him back for the last 2 games of the season, but they missed him for a game where a Thompson Special FK, could have given then 3 points. In the few games he has played for Leeds, he has scored at least 2/3 match winning goals. Could you imagine how we would feel if that had happened to an on form Freddy & the appeal hadn't been won?

I still think Hull will stay up. W@NKERS!!!!

Ba Humbug! Here we are trying to work up a head of Righteous Indignation, and you go and throw a bucketful of Cold Reason and Fair Assesment over it! Where's the fun in that?

:thump:

A question for RC. Would we have won the appeal. I rest my case m'lud

Possibly not, in fact, almost certainly not!

However, that doesnt detract from the fact he didnt deserve to get sent off, and as much as I would love to come on here and say what an outrage it is that the FA/FL/UEFA/FIFA have overturned the ban, I'm afraid in this case, they were spot on!

Right, who's turn is it to find the next straw to clutch at!! :)
