palexander

Life President
I know its a fair trek up for most of you, so probably only an interest for us exiles!

I'm selling my Friday ticket for the Leeds Festival as I now have a family commitment I cannot get out of :thump:

Line up for Friday (24th August) is:-

Smashing Pumpkins ( gutted to miss them)
Nine Inch Nails (:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:)
Lostprophets
Fall Out Boy
CSS
Klaxons
Funeral for a Friend
+44
The Used

and tonnes more (http://www.leedsfestival.co.uk).

Looking for any sensible offers near face value - cost me £75 with booking fees etc.

PM if interested... thanks!

no disrespect but that Friday line up to my taste looks ****e!!!

As you say - to your taste. To anyone who grew up in the 90's with American rock/grunge, Smashing Pumpkins and NIN alone make it worthwhile!!

The rest of the weekend is more for kiddies with Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Razorlight headlining - should be fun for all the 15 year old Emos...

Yeah like you say for somebody into that genre its a superb feast!

I heard Ken Bates was gonna come down and play a few numbers by Kenny Rogers. Then he was gonna end his set by playing "Taxman" by George Harrison.:hilarious:

That's the same lineup as the Sunday at Reading.
Bit disappointed in the lineups this year (Leeds Friday / Reading Sunday aside), as you say too much for the kiddies.

Ash and RHCP are the only other real highlights from the rest of the bill. Don't believe that Razorsh!te have been given a headlining place :p
